Welcome to the official website of the Asian Law and Society Association. We are a network of scholars committed to the empirical and theoretical inquiry into law and society in the Asian region. We meet annually to share, discuss and debate our research findings.

Our members come from across the world. We welcome new members, especially PhD students and early career researchers. Our low annual membership fee entitles members to discounted conference rates and discounted subscription rates for the Asian Journal of Law and Society.
